From Mrs. Pudelko:

  • Program Effectiveness Survey: All families should have received a link within in the last couple of weeks for the Program Effectiveness survey. Your feedback is valued and appreciated. We ask that you please take a few moments to complete this survey so that we can continue to improve our programming for our students.

  • Catholic Central information: You may have noticed there is additional information that has come home from Catholic Central recently. The Office of Catholic Schools has asked that all elementary/middle schools partner with the all three high schools in the Diocese of Grand Rapids. This includes West Catholic, Catholic Central, and Sacred Heart Academy. Any information that we receive about the programming at these three schools will be shared with you. If I can answer any further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

  • Thank you to those families who completed the Child Care Survey. Look for an update prior to Spring Break.

  • Class list planning for 21-22 will begin the first week of May. We have a team that gathers to create class lists and many factors go into determining classroom placements, including the academic, social and emotional needs of each child. If you have a parent request, we will do our best to accommodate it, but we cannot guarantee all requests can be granted. Any requests need to be made by April 30, 2021 in order to be considered.

  • Please complete your registration packet for 21-22 as soon as possible. Getting your registration in on time helps to effectively begin planning for next school year. REMINDER: Beginning April 1st, a registration fee of $200 will be charged.

  • We continue to offer our referral scholarship again this year. If you have friends or family who may be interested, please pass along the information. I would love to share more about our programming. The Diocese of Grand Rapids announced that they will also be offering Welcome Scholarships for new families with children in preschool and kindergarten. Check out the details here.

  • The school office is not able to access the 'Attendance' line at this time. If you need to call in an absence, please call the direct line at 453-8229, ext. 200. We will update you when it can be utilized. Thank you!

  • HEALTH DEPARTMENT TOOLKIT: The Health Department continues to update the School Toolkit. All parents are encouraged to review these updates here.

Noteworthy News:

  • HOUSE TO HOMEROOM: 'House to Homeroom' is the new name for the Yearbook page about Covid!! We are still in need of entries for the page. These can be anything that was learned or 'found out' during the time we spent away from school.....not necessarily pertaining to school courses!
  • 5 BELOW FUNDRAISER: March 21 - March 27. 10% of purchases made will be donated back to St. Anthony School. See the link for more information: 5 Below Fundraiser

Organization and Sports News:

  • WINTER II SPORTS FEES: Winter II sports fees will be billed 3/20 or 4/5 via Smart Tuition.
  • BOXTOPS/FUNDRAISING: Just a reminder...you can send in Boxtops, Family Fare receipts or MyCoke reward #'s (found on 12 and 24 pack cartons).
Newsletter / Emails Resubscribe:
Please take caution when viewing the School Newsletter via a tablet or smart phone, that you do not 'unsubsrcibe' to the school emails. While 'swiping' with your finger to view the newsletter, it is easy to hit on the 'unsubscribe' button on the bottom of the page. When this is done, you will no longer be able to receive newsletters or email blasts from the school.

If you find you are no longer receiving emails from school, please call the school office. We will send you a 'resubscribe' email. After we get confirmation from you that you accept it, you can be added back to the contact list.
