Our attendance continues to be strong as we experienced another awesome day of worship this past Sunday. Thank you for the great response I have received from so many of you concerning the current sermon series on “Holiness.” This Sunday I will continue with, “Holiness – What Does It Cost?”
This coming Sunday will be Austin, Chloe, and Ella Grace’s last Sunday with us. We have planned a going-away reception for them to show our appreciation for the past 3 years. Please join us at 5:00pm this Sunday, August 15th, in the Fellowship Hall. A collection is being made as a love gift.
Revival services will be held September 19-22! Former Minister of Youth, Jeremy Montgomery, will be our guest evangelist. Please mark these dates on your calendar and plan to attend.
In Max Lucado’s book, “In the Grip of Grace – Your Father Always Caught You. He Still Does,” Lucado writes, “Who has more reason to worship than the astronomer who has seen the stars? Than the surgeon who has held a heart? Than the oceanographer who has pondered the depths?” I would add, “Than the one who has received God’s grace of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ?” Come worship with us this Sunday!
