Noteworthy Chocolates Announces National Partnership with Edible Arrangements
Noteworthy Chocolates, the custom laser-engraved chocolate gift company, is proud to announce a new partnership with food-gifting giant Edible Arrangements. Edible.com now offers a curated collection of personalizable Noteworthy chocolate gifts, chosen to appeal to the Edible customer. In addition to the special Noteworthy Chocolates collection for Edible Arrangements, the Noteworthy Holiday collection is also available now at noteworthychocolates.com, with premium holiday gifts that can be shipped nationwide.

The national partnership between Noteworthy Chocolates and Edible Arrangements will run year-round, mixing seasonal choices and evergreen designs. Both companies were founded in Connecticut, sparked by ideas for a never-before-seen food gifting option. Edible Arrangements introduced the concept of fruit baskets inspired by flower arrangements to the gifting market. Nearly two decades later, Noteworthy Chocolates created the first and only laser-engraved chocolates, offering unprecedented options for personalizing food gifts.

“When Edible approached us about a partnership, the idea just made so much sense,” says Noteworthy COO Michael Sauvageau. “Edible Arrangements was an early disruptor of the traditional food gifting world. With our unique laser engraving process, we’re disrupting the personalization game for food gifts. The demand for personalized gifts keeps growing, and we knew we could provide an answer to that demand for Edible. We are thrilled and grateful for the vote of confidence from this established and beloved brand.”

As Noteworthy Chocolates marks its five-year milestone, the company is looking to the future, moving from the successful start-up phase to become one of Connecticut’s emerging businesses. While staying rooted in connection to the local community, Noteworthy Chocolates ships gifts anywhere within the contiguous United States.
This year, Noteworthy offers fresh new gifts options for the holiday season, letting customers easily personalize gifts in a few simple steps right from the noteworthychocolates.com website. Their chocolate gifts can be laser-engraved with the recipient’s name and a personal custom message. The Noteworthy Holiday Collection features gifts for all the winter holidays, including, Hanukkah, Christmas and more, all the way through New Year’s Day.

“Before this, we worked independently,” said Frank Tavera, CEO of the Palace Theater in Waterbury. “One good thing that came out of COVID was the fact that we were now all talking to each other about the future.”

Tavera said there had been some previous collaborations by “The Big Four” — which also included The Bushnell in Hartford and New Haven’s Shubert and Stamford’s Palace theatres — but mostly in regard to lobbying efforts for annual line-item funding from the state legislature, now totaling a combined $784,000 for those institutions.

But this was the first time the foursome invited Torrington’s Warner Theatre and New London’s Garde Arts Center into the room — or more accurately, into the Zoom — and so the loose group became a larger and formal organization with a new name: The Connecticut Performing Arts Centers Coalition.
