GRANT OPPORTUNITY
The State of NJ recently designated $1.6 Million for Main Street Organizations through the NJMS Covid Relief Grant Program that was released October 1st. BMS was not originally eligible due to the BMS Relief Micro Grant Program, but after some back and forth with the Department of Community Affairs, we are happy to announce our Main Street Business CAN apply for additional grant relief!

TIME SENSITIVE! The preliminary application is due tomorrow, 10/16. If you are interested in applying, follow these steps TODAY:

  1. Read, sign and return the Business Grantee Certification found here
  2. Begin a list of COVID expenses and projected expenses 3/18-12/30/2020. A detailed spreadsheet will soon follow for you to complete. Details of approved billable items can be found here. Include rent/mortgage, any unforeseen COVID expenses, and include all funding received to date with amount and source.
  3. Share with fellow Main St business owners.

Please help spread the word as this is extremely time sensitive. The most important step to complete today is the Grantee certification. I will be emailing a spreadsheet by midday, start gathering your expenses now. Receipts are not required at this time, but will be before funds are dispersed.
