Fall of 2020

Hope you all are healthy, safe and sane.  It feels like Covid 19 and year 2020 will never end. All summer art shows were cancelled - making me more grateful than ever for the Lithia Artisan's Market in Ashland.  While tourism and sales are way down, Elster Photography is somehow surviving. Better days ahead.

A few new images and some other stuff to share with you too!

The Coast Has Been Calling!
We've been to the coast a few times this summer - trying to escape reality and the heat.
One of my favorite images of the summer - a mama Harbor Seal with her pup. I was able to capture this scene thanks to a long lens and thunderous/crashing surf that covered up any sounds I made. I'm looking forward to printing thisOrder one Here!

Black Oystercatchers are fast flying, unusual birds who love to eat - you guessed it, oysters. I'm still learning how to use Sony's very advanced auto focus system. It worked perfectly here! Buy a print HERE
A young Brown Pelican in Crescent City, CA. I love the light on this one. Instantly one of my favorite pelican images ever. Buy a print:HERE

Lots more from the coast can be seen in THE LATEST gallery!
Merch!

Stainless Steel Wine Glasses! I sold out of the first 24 in 2 days, before ever announcing them in an email. They are super cool and classy. Flawless engraving, spill proof, and your wine (any beverage really)  will taste better too. I just got more and you can get them HERE
About Shows, Markets and Galleries and Elster Photography

Nothing new about any shows, galleries, etc, but the Lithia Artisan's Market in Ashland is open! Every other show in the foreseeable future is cancelled, including the Holiday show in Eureka, CA and the Portland Audubon show. So sad.

I'm putting a ton of time and energy into my Etsy site. You can order single cards, select prints and more there. Starting at 9:00 tonight through September 7th, I'm having a "Labor Day Sale" which equals 20% off any purchase over $45.00! Follow this link:  Elster Photography on Etsy!
Just when I thought the world could not get any stranger, a deer stopped by to pee in front of my booth at the Lithia Artisan's Market.
