Love God.
Love people.
Make disciples of Christ.
Quick note from Pastor Brian:

“This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!” I pray all of you are doing well and trusting in the Lord! This week we look at Matthew 18:15-20. Our Lord and Savior reminds us of how important the message of reconciliation is, a message that He has entrusted us with. The Scripture lessons are Ezekiel 33:7-11 and Romans 13:8-14. There are lots of things coming up in the next few weeks, please check out the website for all the details at hopechurchmn.com.

As we mentioned on Sunday, we are in need of volunteers for our Wednesday evening youth and kids ministry. We’ve already had some volunteers come forward! We still are in need of a couple of classroom leaders to help out with Hope Kids. If you would be interested in helping or finding out more information, please email Abby at children@hopechurchmn.com. Also please be in prayer for our youth and children’s ministries as we plan to begin our fall programs in mid September. Pray for safety and health for those involved and that God would be at work in a very real way in the lives of our students and all who volunteer.

Just a quick reminder, the church office will be closed Thursday, September 3rd through Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day.

See you Sunday!

-Pastor Brian Ricke

Below is information for the coming weekend:

SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE TIMES
We offer two Sunday Worship services. The times will be as follows:

As a reminder, temporarily bulletins will not be handed out on Sunday mornings. A "mini-bulletin" has been created: See September 6th's Mini-Bulletin.

We ask that everyone who attends our services play their part in practicing safe social distancing. You can find a full list of our safety guidelines here (COVID19 | SAFETY GUIDELINES).
The following may be repetitive, but in case you missed it in previous weeks...

There is a mandatory "wear a mask in public places" policy in effect in Minneapolis (Executive order 20-81). We are highly recommending that, if possible, you would please wear a mask upon entering and exiting the sanctuary. We are also asking that you wear the mask whenever social distancing (6 ft apart) is not possible. We know this might seem inconvenient, but I believe that this is an opportunity to place the needs of others (potentially at risk congregation members) as more important than ourselves (Philippians 2:3-4).

For the health and safety of all who choose to worship at Hope Church, we ask that if you have any COVID-19 symptoms that you stay at home until you are no longer symptomatic. We also ask that if you have been in close proximity to someone who tests positive for COVID-19, that you take the necessary precautions and refrain from participating in Hope Church activities and our Worship services until you are certain you are not at risk of spreading the virus.

We will have masks available for those who do not have them. We are asking that you would honor the CDC's recommendation of social distancing, but also understanding families will sit next to one another. If you have any questions, please feel free to email or call us.
Annual Reports will be available on September 13th at both services. Please call the office at 612-521-3547 if you need to arrange a different time or method to get your copy of the report (one per household please).
