KNEWSLETTER - Vol. 73

Ahoy Marianne!

Not to worry little skipper - the crew at KKMI are working to get your boat ready to go when the rain stops. And it will stop eventually... it will! So, if you haven’t already, bring her over during a break in the storms, and we will get her ready to go. Because, as we know, the sun WILL be out. And, like those daffodils popping their pretty little heads up out of the ground, you (and everyone who knows that you have a boat) will be reaching for the sunshine and champing at the bit to go for a ride.

We are boaters and we are an adaptable bunch. But boy howdy this has been a tough one. We do hope your hatches are battened, your gear is stowed securely, and you're holding on tight. The end is in sight. And trust us - we are cheering for it as loudly as you are!

JOIN THE FIGHT WITH THIS KNOCKOUT DEAL!

LAST KNEWSLETTER CHALLENGE & WINNER

QUESTION/ANSWER:

A man is on one side of a river, his dog on the other. The man calls his dog, who immediately crossed the river without getting wet and without using a bridge or a boat. How did the dog do it?

It was FROZEN! He skated across!

CONGRATULATIONS JAMES HUNT

This is a shot of James sailing his boat, Blue Moon, a 1997 Santana at Union Valley Lake at 4500’. The snow capped peaks are to the East, forming the Desolation Valley and Tahoe Basin. His sailing club, Potter Yachters of NorCal, go there annually and sail camp or anchor out for a three day weekend.
