Learn Mediation Skills for Dealing With Conflict

The Mediation Skills Training Institute presented by Lombard Mennonite Peace Center (LMPC) equips clergy and lay church leaders with skills to deal effectively with interpersonal, congregational, and other forms of group conflict. The five-day institute also includes a component on congregational mediation and consultation.

Clarification on June Meeting

For most participants, the 111th meeting of the presbytery will continue to be a virtual experience through Zoom. However, the planning committee is working to put on safe and effective hybrid meetings for the future. Therefore, on June 14 a small group of commissioners will attend in person at Westminster Church in Richmond, to serve as a test for hybrid plans developed so far. Lessons learned during the June test will help the committee make additional adjustments so that in-person and virtual participants have a positive experience in the future.

Sandston Worships at Camp Hanover

Sandston Church held worship at Camp Hanover on May 15. The congregation filled the covered pavilion with song and the word of God. After the service, they enjoyed a picnic lunch.
