Bring Baby Jesus

At each Mass on the weekend of December 19/20, the Third Sunday of Advent, we will adopt the tradition of the Holy Father blessing of the “Bambinelli," the infant Jesus figurines. Please bring in your Baby Jesus figurines from your home nativity sets for the seasonal blessing.

Searching for a meaningful gift for Christmas
for someone special?
Consider a donation in their honor.
Call the parish office, 502-582-2971,

The Cathedral will prepare a Christmas card for you to send (or we will send it for you). You can select which area of Cathedral ministry the donation will benefit:

  • State ID Voucher Program

  • Feed My Neighbor

  • St. Therese Montessori Lunch Program at our sister parish Cathedral St. Louis in Jérémie, Haiti

  • Capital Campaign Vision for ongoing projects on our Cathedral Campus

  • Capital Campaign Legacy Endowment for long-term care and support of the Cathedral
Annual Right to Life Signature Ad
Our parish is invited to participate in a Pro-Life Signature Ad in memory of over 65 million babies aborted since January 22, 1973. The ad will run in the Sunday, January 24, 2021 statewide edition of the Courier-Journal. The ad is sponsored by Right to Life of Louisville and the suggested donation is $5 per name or line.

During this pandemic, instead of collecting signatures in the back of church this Advent as we had planned, we ask that you go online if you wish to have your name included.

You may also call Right to Life of Louisville, at 502-895-5959.

2020 Archdiocese
of Louisville
Catholic
Services Appeal

To view video, please click on the image.

The Cathedral parish has been given two goals
for this year's
Catholic Services Appeal:

Funds

&

Involvement

Our challenge is to raise $144,300
and for
175 Cathedral households to donate to the appeal.

The annual Catholic Services Appeal invites area Catholics to join together in supporting the more than 100 ministries, services, and programs offered by the Archdiocese - services each parish could not offer on its own.
