A MESSAGE FROM SR. PRINCIPAL, MR. TOLZDA | |
Dear St. Serra Parents,
St. Serra will be hosting two very important events at our school in two weeks. On Friday, March 3, Grandparents and Special Friends are invited to our campus to enjoy a day of fun, entertainment and friendship. This is a special event simply because of how important grandparents are in our lives. Not only do our grandparents help support their grandchildren’s school and education in multiple ways, they also contribute positively to the well-being and overall development of their grandchildren. The importance of having grandparents involved in our children's lives goes without saying. As a grandparent myself, I can attest that the love that grandparents have for their grandchildren is unrelenting and like no other.
Proverbs 17:6 “Grandchildren are the crown of the aged, and the glory of children is their parents.”
Then on Saturday, March 4, we will host our biggest annual fundraising event, Anchor Ball, on our beautiful St. Serra campus. This capstone event is definitely the fundraising highlight of the year; an evening to come together as a school community to celebrate our children, our school, and all that we have accomplished. The Anchor Ball committee has been working relentlessly these past few months to ensure that it will be a night to remember. If you haven’t already, I encourage you to register to attend, as it promises to be an evening of great fun and enjoyment.
Our children benefit from exposure to a wide spectrum of educational and extracurricular opportunities that we are able to offer because of our ability to fundraise. These experiences will be invaluable to them and can be remembered throughout their lifetime. I hope that you will consider enjoying the night with us and help support our many wonderful programs at St. Serra.
Always striving,
Tim Tolzda
Sr. Principal
