The Last Sailor
Sarah Anne Johnson
Sarah Anne Johnson’s new novel, The Last Sailor, is embedded in the maritime history of 1898 Cape Cod and set in a landscape known intimately to the author since her childhood. The Grammarians
Cathleen Schine
A playful, joyful novel about word-obsessed twin sisters who go to war with each other over possession of a prized family heirloom: a dictionary. One sister grows up to be a stickler for proper grammar and traditional language, and the other appreciates the changing nature of language. The book is a tribute to the beauty and nuance of language and its evolution--but it's also a deep, meaningful look at how language shapes us as people.

We carry a select collection of books from Harvard University Press, Yale University Press, University of Chicago Press and Princeton University Press.
