A MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL MARSICH
October 13, 2020

Dear 5th Grade Parents,

I am pleased to let you know that despite changes to this school year, your children will still be able to take part in the Law Enforcement Against Drugs (L.E.A.D.) program that we traditionally offer to fifth grade students each year in conjunction with the Woodcliff Lake Police Department. Officer Brown and Officer Sherfer will meet with your children virtually for ten sessions throughout the year on topics such as decision making, conflict resolution, and other social-emotional competencies.

These sessions will occur virtually in the afternoons and will take the place of the special area subject that the fifth grade would normally have scheduled for that day and time. The sessions will be live, so your children must attend at the times listed below. All access information will be accessible through Google Classroom, and your children's teachers will distribute physical L.E.A.D. workbooks and help the students sign up for their L.E.A.D. Classrooms.
