Roslyn Public Schools
SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS
December 3, 2020

Dear Roslyn Families,

This letter is to inform you that a student at Roslyn High School has tested positive for COVID-19. This individual was last in the building on Tuesday, December 1, 2020.

At this time, our internal contact tracing has been completed and any potential close contacts have been notified. This case does not warrant a school closure. As always, we will continue to work in conjunction with the Nassau County Department of Health (NCDOH).

Please note that the district is providing school community notifications and contract tracing for ONLY those students and staff participating in full-time or hybrid in-person learning. Contract tracing of fully remote students falls under the responsibility of the NCDOH.

Please continue to follow local health guidelines to keep yourself, your families, and our community healthy and safe. Thank you for your cooperation.

Sincerely,

Allison Brown
Superintendent of Schools
