CPG Young Professionals Group Sign-Up
Fall 2021 - Spring 2022

CPG is accepting applications from CPG member companies for the Young Professionals Group. The YP's will meet monthly between September and April for development, leadership training, concrete construction education, field trips, events, mentoring and fun. Instead of a charge per month, an overall application fee per associate for the 8-month program is in the registration fee. $600 for the first YP and $500 for 2nd YP. We will combine fun activities with learning opportunities. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.

YP's are respected future leaders in your company (24 to 40-ish) with a strong future in our industry!

CPG YP Mission Statement:
To develop the future leaders in our concrete community by offering interesting learning opportunities while networking, mentoring, and serving our community.

4 Main Objectives:

  • Develop - personal and professional learning
  • Network - exposure to peers and leaders in the concrete & construction communities
  • Mentor - experienced professionals well respected in the industry serving as speakers & mentors
  • Community - roll your sleeves up and help the concrete community (possible Habitat for Humanity      opportunity and other projects to get involved in.)

Most monthly meetings will feature a mentor/speaker at the beginning of the event for 30 minutes, then proceed to an activity and always networking! The YP’s will be surveyed to see which topics are of interest to them for future meetings. Some examples are carbon neutral concrete, resilient construction, PLC’s and more. Suggestions for topics are welcomed.
