NEW COVID-19 SAFETY MODIFICATIONS

NEW SAFETY MODIFICATIONS GO IN EFFECT NOVEMBER 30, 2020

With COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations surging, L.A. County announced additional safety modifications that become effective on November 30, 2020 and remain in effect for three weeks through December 20, 2020.

REFUSE & RECYCLING INFORMATION

HHW & E-WASTE EVENT: Household Hazardous Waste & Electronic Waste Collection events sponsored jointly by the Sanitation Districts and Los Angeles County Public Works resumed these events with new COVID-19 safety precautions. The City of Azusa participates in these events. Open to LA County residents.

Covina: December 5, 9 AM - 3 PM, Royal Oak Middle School, 303 Glendora Avenue

La Verne: December 19, 9 AM - 3 PM, Brackett Field, Fairplex Drive and West McKinley Avenue

Save the Date for Azusa: April 24, 2021

HOLIDAY TREE RECYCLING: Athens Services will collect and recycle Christmas trees, starting on December 26, for three consecutive weeks.

Remove stand and all decorations
Cut trees longer then 6 feet
Flocked trees will be accepted

For missed collection, call Athens Services at (888) 336-6100.

CHRISTMAS DAY, DECEMBER 25: No trash pick-up. There is a one-day delay in service when holiday is on a weekday.
