BATTLE FOR BOXES
SCCS 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades are joining forces with Victory Kitchen for their annual Battle for Boxes to help provide Christmas gifts for area kids in need. For more information on how to participate, click here. The deadline for boxes is Friday, December 10th

THANKSGIVING MEAL DONATION WITH VICTORY KITCHEN
Each year our students participate in a food drive to create Thanksgiving baskets for those in need in our community. This year we are partnering with Victory Kitchen, who will be providing the turkeys and will help to distribute our Thanksgiving baskets. If you or anyone you know is in need of assistance this Thanksgiving, please contact Brittany Sternberg ([email protected]) or Victory Kitchen (419) 627-8732.

Preschool 2 boxes of Jiffy muffin mix
Kindergarten Mrs. Berlin: 2 cans of corn
Kindergarten Mrs. Gosser: 2 cans of green beans
Kindergarten Mrs. Sturgill: 2 cans of cranberry sauce
1st grade Mrs. Kessler: 1 package of ready-to-serve dinner rolls (please no freezer items)
1st grade Mrs. Myers: 1 large can of yams
2nd grade Mrs. Farrar: 2 boxes of turkey dressing mix
2nd grade Miss Greulich: 1 roasting bag
2nd grade Mrs. Riedy: 1 large applesauce
3rd grade Mrs. Wobser: 2 boxes of turkey dressing mix
3rd grade Mrs. Murphy: $2.00 per student for pies
4th grade Ms. Kimberlin: 1 aluminum roasting pan
4th grade Mrs. White: 2 jars of turkey gravy
5th grade Ms. Doerner: 1 large applesauce
5th grade Mrs. Yacobozzi: (1) 5-pound bag of potatoes

CHANGE WARS FOR ERIE COUNTY CHILDREN SERVICES
Each year the Elementary (PK-5) participates in a classroom change war to raise money to sponsor Christmas for children connected with Erie County Children Services. The change war will run from Monday, November 29 through Friday, December 3. The classroom who collects the most money will win a Christmas movie and popcorn party the last week before Christmas break. Please only coins and no bills.  
MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL NEWS
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS SCHOLARSHIP FOR SCCS STUDENTS
The Knights of Columbus Ohio Charity Foundation, Inc. is offering their annual scholarship to students in grades 9-12. If awarded a scholarship, the money will be applied to their SCCS tuition for the 2021-2022 school year. To qualify, students must be a 9-12 grade student, practicing Catholic, have at least a 2.5 GPA, and have a financial need. Click here for an application.
