At AMD, students are engaged in a rigorous academic program that taps into their creativity and problem solving skills in a collaborative environment. Ossining Parents Advocating Collectively for Our Children (OPACC) is a parent advocacy group of more than 100 families who are dedicated to supporting the needs of black students in the Ossining Union Free School District (OUFSD). Started in 2006 by a group of black parents who were inspired to take action to define and remedy the opportunity and access gap, OPACC's push for equity in education continues today.
