GENERAL
PSAT/NMSQT
Attention juniors! Peninsula is offering the PSAT/NMSQT exam on campus Tuesday, Jan. 26. If you want to register for the exam, you must do so by TOMORROW, Nov. 20 through the student WebStore on Pen's website. The exam fee is $21 plus $1.50 service fee for a total of $22.50. Remember, this exam may only be taken once per school year, so if your student has already taken it as a junior, they may not take it again.
 
FREE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH
The cafeteria is offering curbside pickup for a free breakfast and lunch every school day from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm. Come to the Gate 3 entrance before Basswood where the line forms outside the gym. This program is open to any student 18 and under and recipients do not need to be enrolled in PVPUSD. No pre-order required. All meals include an entrée, choice of milk and seasonal fruit and vegetables. Menus are at pvpusdschoolnutrition.net. PLEASE NOTE: There is no food distribution from TOMORROW, Nov. 20 through Friday, Nov. 27. There is also no food distribution from Friday, Dec. 18 through Friday, Jan. 1, 2021.
 
LIBRARY HOURS
Due to the upcoming Thanksgiving break, the library closes at 12:30 pm TOMORROW, Nov. 20 and remains closed until Monday, Nov. 30 when regular hours of 8:00 am to 3:30 pm resume.
 
FOOD DRIVE
Last chance to give back and help this holiday season. Come to the drive through food drive for non-perishable foods TODAY 2:30 to 4:30 pm. Sponsored by Pen's Service Learning Leadership, the food will be donated to South Bay food agencies. If students need volunteer hours or proof of donation, receipts will be provided. MYSTERY BOOK CLUB
Love a good who dun it? Then join the Mystery Club forming now through the library. Read the thrilling The Girl on the Train, view the movie in the comfort of your home, then join a TEAMS meeting to discuss it all with other fans. UPGRADE NEEDED
You can be a Santa to the Drama Department and the PVPHS Drama Boosters by helping them raise the funds for a long overdue upgrade to the sound system in the Performing Arts Center. The quality of sound enhances drama performances as well as musical programs that use the PAC. Click here to get started.

DAY OF REMEMBRANCE
TOMORROW, Nov. 20 is Transgender Day of Remembrance to honor the lives of those non-conforming gender individuals who died as a result of hate crimes. The LGBT United Club is holding a live-stream vigil and ceremony on YouTube at 12:30 pm Friday which you may access here.
