Dear friends,

This Shabbat morning, we celebrate Maxwell Karas becoming a bar mitzvah! The service starts at 9:30 am on Saturday; we’ll use Mishkan T’filah, and Maxwell will chant Torah from the sefer-on-the-screen, so that you can also see inside the Torah scroll with him. Maxwell has prepared beautifully, and we are so excited for him to take on Jewish (ritual) adulthood as part of our community and illuminate this Shabbes’ learning for us.
