In-Person Learning Update
On Monday, Superintendent Horton shared an important update regarding In-Person Learning with the D65 community. Per his update, there will be a phased-in return for students to school buildings. Provided that there are no setbacks in our current health conditions, D65 anticipates the first day of school for the first phase to be November 16. Higher priority was placed on certain student groups who were deemed to benefit more from a return to in-person learning, as recommended by guidance from the Illinois State Board of Education

In this phase, PreK-5 grade students who requested in-person learning and meet three or more of the criteria mentioned in Dr. Horton’s update will return to school buildings. All middle schools students will continue with remote learning at this time. Weekly updates will continue to be shared with our community.
