Greetings!
Welcome back to club! I’m so happy to be starting a new club year with all of you and I’m looking forward to seeing all of you on Zoom for our first Business Meeting of the 2020/2021 club year. I hope each of you has had the opportunity to enjoy time with family or friends this summer.
This year we will be combining our club Installation, Retreat, and Picnic into one fun-filled day. On September 20, 2020, our SNR Governor, Sarah will be joining us to install our new incoming officers, as well as being a featured guest speaker at our club Retreat that same day. I hope all of you will be able to join us at Merlo Park for a day of fun, friendship, and learning. Please be on the lookout for the Evite invitation so you can RSVP.

Installation, Retreat & Picnic Rescheduled for
September 20, 2020
10 am to 3 pm
Merlo Park
22 P Line, Stirling City
The Installation will be at 10 am followed by our club Retreat and then our picnic. All events will be at Merlo Park in Stirling City. We will be combining the three events into one day.
- Governor Sarah will be doing the installation & will be our guess speaker at retreat

SI Elk Grove Virtual Fundraiser
We are selling Soroptimist hats and sun-visors with the "S dot" logo and the words Savvy, Sassy or Strong....or all three on a visor! They're really very cute, are great for sun protection and/or for disguising hair styles that are struggling given COVID restrictions on hair salons.

Dear SISTAs and guests,
Please visit our website to see how wonderful our Zoom visit to Kenya was on Monday. Sadly the recording didn't work, so you can't see the kids' energetic singing and dancing in celebration of the Kithoka Amani Children’s Home (KACH) 11th birthday. They did prepare a 3 minute video which is on YouTube - so please Click here to watch
On the call were Soroptimists from around the world as well as many of the staff and kids from KACH. There were 11 Members of SI St Albans and District, 4 Soroptimists from the London Chilterns Region, one from The Seychelles and one from Chico in California!
