Join us on, as we take-in a livestream ZOOM performance of the extraordinary talents of Kipyn Martin and Allison Shapira. They’ll be performing their well-received, musical tribute to Joan Baez & Joni Mitchell. They perform a collection of timeless songs by Joan and Joni and reveal a few hidden gems from their respective albums as well!
Kipyn Martin is an award-winning Americana singer/songwriter whose roots sink into the banks of the Shenandoah River. Allison Shapira is a recovering opera singer who recently found her authentic voice as a folksinger and songwriter.

Funds raised from the Joan & Joni concert will go to the Domestic Violence Crisis Center to help individuals experiencing abuse on their journey to safety.

The #MeToo Service takes us on a journey from the pain of sexual trauma to the strength of healing within a supportive, affirming community. The service will include art, music, poetry and survivors’ words. We are honored to have guest speakers Rev. Debra Haffner, Allie Sicilia and Jim Luongo.

"The Will to Go On" is the title of our Spring concert/service. Six soloists, the Children's Choir, the Septet, and the Once and Again Singers will offer musical selections to bolster your spirits. Our music will include selections from our own Andy Gundell and Len Handler, and from Sondheim, Hellerman, Schwartz, Poley, Vaughan Williams, Finzi, plus some traditional spirituals. Please join us for this festive event when we celebrate our will, power and desire to go on with life.

What does this mean and what can we do about it?
Katia Daley, Health Care Campaign organizer for CT Students for a Dream, will answer those questions and more as she shares how the lack of health insurance impacts real lives and describes the “HUSKY for Immigrants” campaign.
