Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving
One year ago, we were in the planning stages of LumenSparQ. We had yet to identify any heroes and were trying to figure out this whole process of running a non-profit organization. We were so green.

Since that time, with your help, we have honored three Lumenaries. Kim continues her tireless efforts at the Warrior Food Pantry at El Camino College, supporting struggling young adults with food and other necessities. Sidra, principal at 156th Street Elementary, welcomed her students back to campus this fall and is now in full swing, armed with Chromebooks and a little library. And María, English teacher at Lennox Middle School, began her book club this year with eager new 6th graders and returning 7th/8th graders. Join us in wishing all of them a safe and happy Thanksgiving break.

And we wish the best for you, too, our donors and supporters. Stay safe and enjoy this special time with family and friends.

We look forward to the year ahead with new Lumenaries and SparQs to come. Thank you for taking this journey with us.

Sincerely,
The LumenSparQ family
