City Operations
Council Committee of the Whole meets November 29 at 6pm; there is no City Council meeting that day. The next City Council meeting will be held in person on Monday, December 6. The meetings will also continue to be streamed live and can also be accessed on the City’s YouTube channel. The agenda can be found on the City's website. City Hall Offices and Community Center Closed
In observance of the Thanksgiving holidays on November 25 and November 26, City Hall offices are closed. The Community Center will be closed on Thanksgiving Day; only the ice rink will be open on Friday, November 26. Refuse/recycling collection will be delayed by one day following Thanksgiving: Thursday pickup will be on Friday, and Friday pickup will be on Saturday.
 
Loose Leaf Collection #3 Planned
A third loose leaf collection (no bagged leaves) is scheduled to begin on December 1. Please refer to the online map to see which day is planned for your neighborhood. This final collection is dependent upon the weather, therefore the schedule may vary and may include a Saturday collection.
 
Safe Routes to Schools Project
The Ohio Department of Transportation and the City of Cleveland Heights will be constructing new ADA-compliant curb ramps and high-visibility crosswalks at the following intersections as part of the Safe Routes to Schools program: Bradford Path and Canterbury Road, Bradford Path and Princeton Road, Roanoke Road and Windsor Road, and Quilliams Road and Randolph Road. Public questions and/or comments are welcome, and should be directed to the Public Works Department by calling 216-291-2470 or by emailing jkickel@clvhts.com.

New Weekday Bus #35 Links to Stokes-Windermere Station
Beginning on Monday, December 13, Bus #35 begins weekday service (every 45 minutes, 7am-6pm) as the third direct link between Cleveland Heights and the Stokes-Windermere Rapid Transit Station, which continues to be a major bus hub and the eastern terminus of the Red Line and the HealthLine. Bus #35 travels on Lee (north of Monticello), Monticello (between Lee and Mayfield), and Mayfield (between Monticello and Severance, via Severance Circle. The complete schedule will be posted at rideRTA.com by December 1.
