GOD’S TIMING
One of the hardest things for most people is to wait, especially for children. Go on a trip and a child will ask, “Are we there yet?” They are apt to ask this every few minutes because they have not learned how to be patient. Impatience is definitely a sign of immaturity.
In Galatians 4:4 it says, “But when the fulness of time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law.” Jesus did not come one minute too soon, or one minute too late. It was no mistake that He was born when he was because it was all part of God’s plan. When John the Baptist was born, it was for an appointed time and an appointed purpose. He was to prepare the way for Jesus.
Everything in our life is about timing. When you were born it was not a mistake no matter what the circumstances were. You were created for “such a time as this.” Not a day early, and not a day late.
Joseph’s dreams did not come to pass until he went through severe testing. When God’s timing was right, he was elevated.
Esther was an orphan, but God raised her up in his timing.
Paul was a Christian persecutor, but God met him on the road to Damascus and his life changed. It was his time to choose.
What is it that you are believing for? In God’s timing it will come to pass. Not one minute earlier than it should. If it comes before the right time, it would be like taking a cake out of the oven before it was finished baking. No one wants to eat a cake with batter still in it.
So, just keep believing God’s promises to you and in His timing things will come together. Do not give up. It will come, in God’s timing, don’t be impatient.
