Connecticut Housing Engagement and Support Services (CHESS) Program

With an anticipated start date of September 1, 2021, the CT Behavioral Health Partnership will implement the Connecticut  Housing Engagement and Support Services (CHESS) Program. This initiative is a collaboration  between the CT Department of Social Services (DSS) and the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS). 








The purpose of the CHESS program is to provide support services to HUSKY Health members experiencing homelessness and specified clinical conditions, especially help with finding and staying in affordable housing and connecting to medical and behavioral health services.

Beacon CT Silver Sponsor of CCAR Recovery Fest 2021

Beacon CT is proud to be a Silver Sponsor of the CT Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR) 1st Annual Recovery Fest, Saturday September 18, 2021 from 11am-4pm at Quassy Amusement Park. CCAR’s Recovery Fest is a free, live, family-friendly festival with music, entertainment, stage contests, games, food, arts & crafts, face painting, exhibitor booths & MORE!

CCAR has a history of organizing the recovery community, family members, friends and allies to: 1) put a face on recovery and 2) provide recovery support services. CCAR promotes recovery through advocacy, education and community service, all the while ensuring people in recovery are treated with dignity and respect.

Sixth Annual CT BHP 'iCAN' Conference

Many Connecticut families have loved ones who require services for mental health and substance use disorders in order to live their lives to the fullest potential. Unfortunately, they may face challenges navigating a complex behavioral health system in order to access appropriate treatment and coordinate care.

For this reason, the Consumer and Family Advisory Council (CFAC) of the Connecticut Behavioral Health Partnership (CT BHP) and plan administrator Beacon Health Options are proud to host the sixth annual iCAN Conference. This free, virtual event will take place Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm "
SUPER USER PROVIDERCONNECT USER FUNCTION

The CT BHP Provider Relations Department is announcing a new ProviderConnect function where a staff member(s) at a facility or group practice can become a Super User and create and manage ProviderConnect user IDs and passwords for new and current staff.  
Once a Super User account is activated, the assigned user will be able to:
  • Create new login accounts for new staff members or members of the practice that require access to ProviderConnect.
  • Manage passwords for current and new staff members.
  • Deactivate or disable a managed user when a staff member leaves your organization or no longer requires access to the ProviderConnect application.

PROVIDERCONNECT

Forgetting your password to a work program or system can be a very frustrating event. Whether it is because you just returned from vacation, recently had to change your password, or it’s just another Monday morning; it always comes at exactly the wrong time.
 
When this happens, remember the “Forgot Your Password” function on the home page of the ProviderConnect System. Follow the link below for a step-by-step guide on how to change your password with ease.
