Synexis® LLC recently took up residency in the Pine Ridge West Business Park. Founded in 2001, they are a pioneer in the microbial reduction of occupied spaces. Using their patented technology, Synexis®
is the sole developer of the process by which naturally occurring oxygen and humidity are taken from the air to create Hydrogen Peroxide Gas (H2O2) or Dry Hydrogen Peroxide (DHP™). Wherever air goes in an indoor facility, so too will DHP™ to safely reduce the presence of viruses, bacteria, mold, odors, and insects. The Synexis® system is UL Certified to produce no ozone and works continuously without disruptions or changes in workflow. Synexis® currently holds 12 US patents with 17 pending.
Synexis®-made DHP™ is created from the ambient oxygen and humidity of an enclosed environment moving across a proprietary membrane within the device. The resulting DHP™ is then blown into the occupied space by a fan used to move air across the membrane. Since it’s a true gas, it flows unaided to every corner of the occupied space, reducing viruses, bacteria, mold, odors, and insects in the air, on surfaces, and the most hard-to-reach places. When Synexis® technology is installed, it operates automatically, continuously, and safely requiring minimal maintenance, once per quarter.
Synexis® Dry Hydrogen Peroxide (DHP™) technology was designed for occupied spaces and is currently regulated by the EPA for such use. Synexis® technology is utilized in a variety of indoor spaces, including retail stores, restaurants, fast food chains, university housing, professional sports facilities, corporate office buildings, hospitals, nursing homes, and film & television production lots.

Decorate your yard in fall or Halloween-themed flare and bring a smile to your neighbors and friends. As a registered entry, you will be added to the Fall-O-Ween Tour map. Registered and confirmed participants will receive a free commemorative official entry yard sign, while supplies last.
How to participate
- Register as a resident or local business by Friday, Oct. 16, at 11:59 p.m., and submit a photo of your decorations by Oct. 19 (your photo will be used on the interactive map on the city website).
- Decorate your yard to fit the fall or Halloween theme. Show off your creativity and community spirit while bringing a smile to your neighbors and friends.
- As a registered entry, you will be added to our Fall-O-Ween Yard Tour map. Community members are invited to go on the self-guided tour from Oct. 21–31, 2020, to enjoy the festive decorations and entries.

Get ready for a spooktacular time! Join the Lenexa Rec Center and Lenexa Public Market for a scavenger hunt on Lenexa's civic campus Oct. 29–31, 2020, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Put on your best costume, decorate that mask, and bring the kids out to follow clues that will give them the code word to get a treat at the last stop.
Look for the first clue starting Oct. 29 at the Public Market, Rec Center or on social media. The event is free, open to the public and Intended for kids ages 3 to 12.
All participants must stay at least a ghost's length apart and have on their spookiest masks when indoors.
