Help Prevent COVID-19 Spread During Busy Holiday Season
Everyone can do their part to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 during the busy holiday season. While we’re all eager to spend time with friends and family, there are some basic guidelines that the Unified Government Public Health Department (UGPHD) recommends so that we can all help curb the spread of this virus in our communities, including getting vaccinated, wearing masks, washing your hands, etc.

Next Week's Agenda
Next week we will be convening a few times to talk about stormwater. As part of the updates from the Commission Infrastructure Subcommittees last Thursday, the Commission discussed how we structure our stormwater fees and how to balance need and equity. You can watch the entire presentation and discussion here. The Commission will be discussing this further at next Thursday's Commission meeting (agenda forthcoming) and we are planning a few info sessions for early next week. More info will be posted on our website and social media channels shortly!
To reduce the spread of COVID-19, the meetings of the Unified Government Board of Commission will be conducted remotely using Zoom and broadcast via UGTV and YouTube. Members of the public may attend meetings virtually or watch the virtual meeting in the lobby of city hall (701 N 7th Street, KCK, 66101). The virtual meeting information is also available on the agenda itself.
