SHORT-TERM SUB TRAINING
The ROE is offering short-term substitute teacher training on Thursday, April 8. The online training will take place from 5-7 pm, which will hopefully make it more accessible for para-pros and others who work during the day. Please share this information with your community. The DuPage ROE STEM Team invites DuPage students in 5th-8th grade to enter the Solutions Showcase. Student teams will produce a public service message about one of three designated topics. ILLINOIS READS
The 2021 Illinois Reads Book Festival will be held virtually on March 13 from 10–12:00 pm, and is free to the public. Every year, the Illinois Reads team identifies 36 books to promote: six books each at six different age/grade bands, from birth to adulthood. Illinois Reads activities typically begin in March with a kick-off book festival and conclude with Family Reading Night activities in November. For more information, click here.
