Our College Scholars attend 50+ Colleges and Universities across the nation! Currently, we have 150+ scholars in our College Cohort. We support them by offering scholarships, regular check-in's, care packages, resume editing and Linkedin profile creation. College Scholars have exposure to our Network for internships and other opportunities.

|
Our Teen Scholars attend 30+ High Schools across the Chicagoland area. We created 12 different practical life skill workshops that were offered on a quarterly basis. In April, we hold a 1-day conference for our teens. Our support includes shadow days, letters of recommendation, and connections to additional resources.

Our Parent Cohort is kept in the loop of opportunities we offer their child! Parents work together, share information and resources via the GroupMe app. Some parents include industry professionals that have led some of our workshops, volunteer for our conferences, and given monetary support to help PLAN4SUCCESS. Join the Parent Cohort by clicking the photo above!

PLAN4SUCCESS maximizes its reach and impact by using a "Community Network" structure. Our design allows for interaction with other NonProfit organizations to prevent service duplication and expand the network of services offered to teens and college scholars. If you are a NonProfit or know of one that services our youth, click the photo above to join the Network!

We explored many facets of College life with our scholars in March, Pre-Covid. Our scholars created a plan to apply for college with a custom spreadsheet. They received scholarship information from Scholarshopmom and essay writing prompts to complete college essays. All students created a vision board to cement the PLAN for the journey to attain a college degree! Thank you for your donations to our bowling fundraiser to make this possible!
Once the pandemic hit we had to adjust our Teen Conference efforts into a successful six-week online series. We added a new workshop titled "Let's Talk About It" where parents, teens and college students expressed their feelings around the murder of George Floyd and social injustice. It was a much needed conversation led by our Community Image Award recipient, Jerome Reynolds. A conversation that will never be forgotten!
Your generous donations to our GIVE100 & GIVELEGACY fundraising campaign allowed for 23 scholarships. With gratitude to Meijer's, we will be able to give our College Cohort care packages to support mental wellness and encouragement during these difficult times. We want them to know we are all cheering for their success!
The pandemic did not stop us from serving 150+ students this year. Donate above so that we can continue to provide quality resources and development to our youth in 2021.

Socks were packed by volunteers including the Village of Flossmoor Mayor Braun, Pacific Gardens and South Suburban pads were recipients of the sock drive. Our efforts were featured in the HF Chronicle newspaper. Thank you!
