2020 GAP - The Bearcat Annual Fund

The 2020 Gap, Bearcat Annual Fund campaign has officially launched. The funds raised are part of the St. Monica Catholic School budget and are used to fund crucial operations. EVERY BEARCAT BENEFITS FROM YOUR CONTRIBUTION.

New this year is a bonus goal to provide much needed resources for Science, Technology,

Engineering and Math (STEM) initiatives. What this means to your family is that all of the funds raised above our goal of $225,000 will go directly to these initiatives for Fall 2021.

Every grade level has Gaptains at the ready to anser any questions.

Virtual Back To School Nights

There have been some date changes for Back to School Nights. Please check the calendar for dates and times. Teachers will send out Zoom links.

Calendar Updates

Please make sure to check and subscribe to the calendar. We have some date changes. Monday, October 26th is now a "No School - Teacher In-Service Day". Please make sure to check for other changes.

8th Grade Graduation Update

Graduation will be Friday, June 4, 2021. This has been updated to meet instructional requirements and we have verified that it will not interfere with summer high school instruction.

Health Screening Form

Please make sure you can log into the Family Portal. You will need to be able to access "Web Forms". Under "School" select "Web Forms". Then select "Health Screening Form". More information about logging into our Family Portal can be found on the "Parents" tab on our website.

2019-2020 Yearbooks

2019-2020 Yearbook distribution will begin in October. Be on the lookout for more details.

Yearbooks that were purchased last year will be delivered to the homeroom teachers for the students to take home.

CARPOOL

Carpool Reminder

Kindergarten carpool starts at 7:15AM. Midway gates close at 7:55AM. K-8 late arrivals must check in at McManus Hall. PK late arrivals must enter through the North doors of the Family Center.

Afternoon Carpool

Carpool information can be found under the Parents tab on our website.

At this time all students must be

dismissed through carpool.

LIBRARY NEWS

Each student should have received a Library Login card in order to place book requests from the library. Students grades 3 and up will have time during library classes to request their books, but for our younger students, we want to encourage parents to help their child place book requests.

Kindergarten may request and check out one book, grades 1-5 may request and check out 2 books and grades 6-8 may request and check out three books. You can log into the library catalog by clicking Follett Destiny / Destiny Discover. If you have any questions, please contact Marci Mauriello, the school librarian.
