From Mrs. Pudelko:
What a busy, but fun time of year!

This week we celebrated our wonderful office staff - they truly are the backbone of our school and keep things running smoothly! Thank you to Mrs. Lisa Barnum, Mrs. Kay Rooney, Mr. Ben Novitsky, and Mrs. Sujey Garcia for all that they do for the St. Anthony community. Next week is teacher appreciation week. Myself, along with the Home and School Association and Board of Directors have multiple ways planned to recognize the hard work of our staff throughout this year. Please encourage your students to say thank you to their teachers with a card or note of thanks throughout the week. While right now we feel like most things are back to normal, I want to recognize that this has been a tough year but our staff has shown extreme dedication, perseverance, and patience as we've navigated unprecedented times!

Mark your calendar for Brainbreak live! Every Tuesday Camaron Zvara engages our students with tricks, tips, and information about St. Anthony. He also presented one of his famous magic shows for our students last year. Our students finally get to meet him in person next Tuesday at St. Anthony! I've had an overwhelmingly positive response to his programming for his students and am excited to be able to bring him to our school and continue with Brainbreak next school year!

Tickets are on sale for our Parents' Night Out on May 12! We hope to have a great turnout at this event meant for our parents to have a fun night out, socialize and get to know one another. Invite your friends who may be considering a move to St. Anthony so they can get a feel for our community!

I hope your students shared with you that we had Interactive Whiteboards installed in ALL classrooms this week! These were purchased with EANS funds and are going to be a great teaching and learning tool! The boards are 75" screens that allow so many more opportunities for learning than a traditional white board. Teachers are still learning how to use them and we look forward to getting additional professional development to use these tools to their fullest potential!

God bless,

Jenny
