The 333 Challenge!

Mark your calendars for Tilton’s Day of Giving on Thursday, March 3! This year is all about honoring and appreciating our faculty and staff and we encourage all parents to participate. We are incorporating our “Teacher Appreciation Day” into the Day of Giving and gratitude on March 3, so, this is your chance to express your appreciation!

Thanks to a generous donor, 333 donations to the Tilton Fund on Thursday, March 3 will unlock an additional $100,000 gift that will drive special initiatives to support our amazing faculty and staff such as professional development opportunities, restoring suspended benefits, and programming to support health and wellness.

We are asking parents to help us honor and celebrate our teachers, coaches, and mentors by making a donation of any size on or before March 3 and sharing their notes of appreciation for our Wall of Woohoos! in Skinner Tower. Notes can be made on the online giving page or via email to [email protected].

Thank you!
Amy Elfline P’22, Parent Association President

Communication will go out to students, but their Tilton School emails will now be used for them to log in and view grades and comments. If they are having trouble logging in, please advise them to email [email protected].

Updates from the Health Center

There will be no Covid testing requirements for return to school from the upcoming February Long Weekend (February 9-13).

For your planning, please note that we will require—for all community members, regardless of vaccination status—a negative PCR test to be completed within 72 hours of their return to campus following Spring Break in March. The only exception will be for those who have had a positive Covid test 90 days prior to the return date of in-person learning.

Upon return to campus, we will conduct community-wide testing (except for those with the exception stated above) on March 30 for all adults and boarding students and March 31 for day students.

Masks and Testing
We are updating our campus policy to no longer require masks. As students/ teachers return from March break, we will only require re-entry tests and weekly testing of those who are unvaccinated and anyone who has not yet received their booster. These two groups will be required to test weekly.

Student Life

Student Life Notes

If your student is going to be late to school or miss classes due to inclement weather, a medical appointment, or any other reason, parents or guardians should contact Emily Johnson at [email protected] or 603-286-1776. Students should not self-report their attendance.

Weekend leave requests for boarding students are due on REACH by Thursdays at 12:00 p.m. Going forward, if a student misses the deadline to submit a leave, he or she will be required to remain on campus for the weekend. In a significant situation that requires a student to leave campus at a moment's notice, a parent or guardian should contact the AOD at 603-520-6400.
Business Office — School Store Purchases

Happy almost Spring! We have had requests from students asking if they can charge school store purchases on their incidental account at FACTS. We would like to accommodate this, so for the remainder of this school year, we will allow students to charge items from the school store as long as a parent emails permission to [email protected] and the FACTS account must be current. If you have any questions, feel free to email Lisa Adkins [email protected].
