Grant Open for Application

The Department of Planning and Development (DPD) is accepting applications for Chicago Recovery Plan grant funding supporting local commercial, mixed-use, and light manufacturing development. Priority is given to projects in Chicago areas with a history of disinvestment or limited private investment. Awards for 2023 are on a rolling basis - the first deadline for consideration is February 24th - with applicants receiving a decision in May.

Bank of American 'Down Payment' Program
for Women & Minority-Owned Businesses

Women and minority-owned businesses are invited to participate in Bank of America's new Down Payment Program. The program provides a grant of up to 50% of the required down payment on SBA 7(a) and SBA 504 loans for owner-occupied commercial real estate in Opportunity Zones in Chicago. The grant, which is not to exceed $25,000, does not have to be repaid.
