Parent Update - Home of the Bullfrogs
A Note From Mrs. Yacek
Good afternoon LRES Families,

Thank you families for your continued support. This week is Red Ribbon Week! Our students were given a district t-shirt, compliments of the RCFY. Ms. Abby Aldous, our school social worker has spent a lot of time planning for this week’s activities. Videos and coloring pages were shared with classroom teachers (with a focus on elementary age students). At the elementary school we encourage our students to make healthy choices when taking care of their bodies and minds.

Due to new restrictions pertaining to the sharing of food, our classrooms will not be having any Halloween parties. If, at any time, you are sending in snacks for the entire class, please be sure that they are store bought, individually packaged food items. We hope that our students and families have a safe and enjoyable Halloween, this weekend.

Have a great week everyone!

Hybrid Families

We understand that families may have questions about the activities prepared for students on their remote learning days. Please know that our hybrid teachers may not be able to respond to emails during the day, to address those questions. Do your best to have your child complete the activities and send in a note with your child if there was an issue in completing the assignment. If you need immediate tech help, when your students are at home on a remote days, we encourage you to call the tech hotline at (603)690-9005.

Classroom teachers are using Google Classroom to post assignments and check attendance. This will be the primary source for remote students to access lessons and activities on remote days.

Reminder: Our primary math program is Math In Focus (MIF). Teachers may assign lessons on google classroom, for your child to complete during remote days.

This is the link your child will use to sign in for online access.

When logging into the first screen, be sure to choose NH as the state and School Administrative Unit 33 as the district. Then click Next.
The next screen will ask for the student’s login and password. That was provided by the classroom teacher.

Technology Update

The LRES office staff are currently calling families that are in need of technology for remote learning days. If you notified the school that you needed a chromebook, you should be receiving a call this week to schedule a time to come by and pick up your child’s device.
Red Ribbon Week at LRES!

Red Ribbon Week is coming to LRES! Once again, LRES is teaming up with the Raymond Coalition for Youth and taking time to commemorate this important week. Recognizing that drug and alcohol prevention efforts MUST start early, LRES is committed to creating a week focused on healthy decisions, medication safety and goal setting! During the week we will be sharing a quick video via your student’s google classrooms as well as providing fun, optional activities for the entire family. Lastly, each child will receive a Red Ribbon Week t-shirt. The week of October 26 we will have Monday and Tuesdays students wear their Red Ribbon T-Shirts (to support solidarity in pledging to be drug free) – and on Wednesday and Thursday students are encouraged to wear their pajamas to school – (to support Following their dreams)!
