Diane Holloway
THANKS BE TO GOD FOR THE WORK OF DIANE HOLLOWAY
Diane Holloway's employment at Trinity is ending on October 9th. Diane has been affiliated with Trinity Center since 2009. She joined Trinity Center first as a volunteer in 2009 and served on the board for 2 years. Her passion for caring for our homeless neighbors led to her joining the staff full-time as the Director of Communications & Volunteer Coordinator in 2013. Since that time she has served tirelessly and faithfully, respecting the dignity of every person who has walked through the doors of Trinity. We have all been touched by her loving heart and her fierce advocacy.

While her last day as an employee will be Friday, Oct. 9th, she is still a committed member of St. David’s Church!

There will be a small physically distant drop-in for board, staff, and volunteers to honor Diane. Unfortunately, we cannot open this to everyone. Nonetheless, Diane, please know we love you and appreciate your work.

DISCIPLESHIP CHALLENGE
Sept. 27-Oct. 25
Each Sunday, a weekly set of practices will be put on the St. David’s website based on the 7 words from the Way of Love, developed by the national church (Turn, Learn, Pray, Worship, Bless, Go, and Rest). Activities will be available for a variety of ages and ability levels. We will have Zoom check-ins to track our progress and share the journey on social media. #discipleshipchallenge

DAY SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP FUND
St. David’s Episcopal Day School is proud to announce a scholarship fund specifically for frontline workers and other service providers who are in need of consistent, quality care for their preschool or kindergarten children. While our standard tuition is competitive in terms of affordability as compared with similar quality programs in the Austin area, it is still out of reach for low-wage service workers in particular. Your donation to the scholarship fund will provide a child with access to a school that is accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and would enhance the diversity of our community while providing an essential service to working families during COVID-19.
Thank you for your generosity to God and St. David's Episcopal Church. Your gifts support our mission-critical ministries.
MAIL TO 301 E. 8th Street, Austin, Texas 78701.
GIVE ONLINE: If you have trouble giving online on Sunday, please give at a later time or consider a recurring donation through your bank. We apologize for this inconvenience.

If you are not already giving, please consider making St. David's your giving priority this year.

THE CATECHESIS OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD: ECCLESIOLA

Ecclesiola referred to "little church." The early Church understood that the home was fertile ground for discipleship, sanctification, and holiness. Catechumens will meet at the virtual prayer table on Zoom to gather for prayer, song, and reflection. Children will be provided with a selection of at-home work to support the time they would spend in the atrium.
After the Sunday online worship service we offer Children’s Chapel with Amanda Wischkaemper, our director for Children’s Ministry. Access on Facebook and at stdave.org/online-worship.
