A Christmas Message

Dear Ministry Partner,

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2023!

May the Lord of peace be upon you, especially in this significant season. The new baby has been born for every one of us and is to be shared with others who don’t know Him yet. We are also praying that God will open doors for you to share this good news of peace to your family, relatives, community and beyond. For people of Myanmar, this season has been the best time to present the good news with both words and deeds.

CCI-Myanmar teams have not given up because of this nationwide crisis, but accomplished Christmas celebrations in different mission fields with different ways, such as through giving and providing meals. So, hundreds of people heard the Christmas message, committed their lives to Christ and some received water baptism courageously. CCI-Myanmar provided bibles for newborn babies in Christ.

The photo was taken in a village where the National Director and Pastor B led a Christmas celebration. The preaching style was similar to how Buddhist monks preach. They listened to the message carefully. We gathered together for three nights for worship, praying for the sick and gift giving. Pastors and church elders realized a huge need for follow-up ministry for those non-believers in this area.

May the Lord our God be highly honor and glorified forever!

Testimony From a CCI Student

"I am one of the assistant coordinators and a Certified Teacher of Crossing Cultures International-Myanmar. At present, I am teaching several Bible training classes. I am blessed for having 10 excellent CCI courses to teach. It is such a great platform and experience to study the Word of God systematically. The course process has been simple and accessible. I enjoy and appreciate the work of CCI. I tell all who ask me how great the studies and courses are.

I have a small church and the church members are also being equipped by these courses. I want church pastors and church leaders to gain more biblical knowledge. The CCI materials help us not only to develop our biblical knowledge, but it is suitable for us to grow spiritually.

At first, I thought that these courses could just impact the students’ studies but I realized later that these courses help me improve the teachers. Thank you so much."

Help Support New Coordinators & Ministry Needs in Myanmar

Prayer Requests & Praises

Praise points:

o For His love and faithfulness upon the ministry of CCI-Myanmar.

o Safety and guidance during this mystical period.

o Being able to share the good news of Jesus Christ to over 400 non-believers, provided meals to over 500 people during this Christmas season.

o Over 30 people accepted Christ and 9 received water baptism.

Prayer points:

o Pray for wisdom and strength for the CCI-Myanmar teams so that the ministry will be promoted double in year 2023.

o That God will open new doors for blessed training opportunities for CCI-Myanmar.

o A week-long seminar to ministers, church leaders and missionaries from Feb. 1-11. We expect around 25 participants to come. Pray for safety and His power and guidance during the training session.

o Another two-day seminar for area leaders will be held on February 21-24. Please pray for God to provide travel costs of five area leaders and for lodging for them.

o Pray for my mother-in-law; for her strength and complete healing from the Lord.
