By Kristy Taylor

Huntsman, explained that “beyond his friendship with the Savior, other passages reveal [the Apostle John] as a powerful witness of the most important events of Jesus’s mission: he stood at the foot of the cross to witness the Lord’s death as a sacrifice for sin, ran to the tomb after the Resurrection to confirm that it was empty, and saw the resurrected Savior.”

We Are Responsible for Our Own Learning

By Jacob Edmunds

In his opening remarks at general conference in October 2018, President Russell M. Nelson declared, “It is time for a home-centered Church, supported by what takes place inside our branch, ward, and stake buildings.” Elder Quentin L. “I love genealogical work because it provides a unique experience of continual guidance and inspiration from the Holy Ghost and from the other side of the veil,” commented Kristy Thieme.

Reading these accounts reminded me of ...

Wilford Woodruff's Witness:

The Development of Temple Doctrine

Many existing books and articles discuss specific temple ordinances, but the historical development of all temple ordinances has never been included in a single volume until now. Wilford Woodruff's Witness provides new insight even to those who are very familiar with the history of the Restoration.

The account unfolds in Wilford Woodruff's own words, drawn from primary sources including his journals, discourses, and letters, as well as extensive footnotes and citations allowing for further study. This Enhanced Second Edition includes updated information with links in the footnotes to documents recently transcribed and published online at wilfordwoodruffpapers.org.

Proceeds of book sales fund the transcription work being completed by the Wilford Woodruff Papers Project.
