POST ACADEMY SESSION

Thank you for joining us for the 2021 Virtual Tennessee Arts Academy!

We are grateful that we were able to celebrate the arts and arts education with each of you as we do every year.

Please remember that even though the first week of the Academy is ending, the 2021 Virtual Academy continues. During this two-week period, you will be given numerous resources and opportunities to earn additional TAA hours to get to the 36 hour certificate level goal. Look for more information below in this email about Networking and Collaboration Day on July 21 and the final Core Faculty Wrap-up Day on July 23! We will also continue posting resources in order for participants to earn additional credit over the next two-week period.

We are excited to know that you will be taking the lessons you have learned this week back to your students, whether they are physically in the classroom or on your computer screen. We hope this year's Academy has demonstrated that community, creativity, information, and inspiration can be fostered in any environment - even a virtual one.

The TAA Mentor Program
The Tennessee Arts Academy Mentor Program provides year-long support for novice teachers who would like to receive advice and feedback from a more seasoned colleague throughout the school year. The Academy pairs young teachers with experienced TAA alumni who have successfully implemented in their own classrooms the training they received at the Academy.
