This year’s World Mission Sunday (WMS) takes place on the weekend of October 23-24. World Mission Sunday is our annual worldwide Eucharistic celebration for missions and missionaries around the world. This is your opportunity to generously give to those throughout the world in desperate need of food, shelter, medical care, and hope!

Ordination to the Diaconate
The Diocese of St. Petersburg is happy to announce that Most Reverend Gregory L. Parkes will ordain Francis Averill, Guillermo Caceres, Geoffrey D’Angelo and James Riveiro to the Permanent Diaconate for the service of the Diocese on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle (5815 Fifth Avenue North, St. Petersburg).
