Don't miss out!
The Mayor and Board of Aldermen recently met in an all-day event for the purpose of strategic planning. They have been holding this session annually since 2017 to outline their long-term vision and priorities to provide clear direction for better decision making. In addition to the annual budget workshops, held for the purpose of allocating financial resources, this is an important process in aligning resources to provide superior services to our community. The themes that emerged included economic development efforts to grow business and support existing businesses, providing services for our growing community, remaining transparent and accountable in our use of resources to supply the best service and programs to our citizens and visitors, and develop internally to be the best employer for our employees. A summary of the meeting will be published soon.

I hope you find value in the City’s newsletter. In addition, the City provides a lot of information on our website, including Board meeting activity, official City statements, and my office’s report to the Board of Aldermen each month which can be found HERE.

Please know that your comments and suggestions are important! Do not hesitate to contact me or other staff members. We are dedicated to being good stewards of our community and will continue to operate efficiently to deliver superior municipal services to our citizens and visitors.

Osage Beach Police Department wins
Boots & Badges Blood Drive!
The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks partnered with Osage Beach first responders in hosting the Boots and Badges blood drive.

This friendly competition between the Osage Beach Police Department and the Osage Beach Fire Protection District was held to help alleviate a critical blood shortage. It was a tight race with 17 donations coming in to support the police department and 13 in support of the fire department.

Receiving the trophy from CBCO's Lisa Medley is Chief Todd Davis, Sergeant Joel Shelton, and Lieutenant Tim Taylor. Not pictured is Corporal Pete Leyva who, according to Sgt. Shelton, was the main recruiter for the Police Department.
Is it a Pit Bull?
This is some great information regarding a very misunderstood type of dog. The Police Department gets many calls for stray dogs, and wants everyone to remember, EVERY dog can be dangerous, do not approach a stray dog, contact the Police Department.
