WE ARE FEEDING OUR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES THIS SUMMER!
Carver Center will again be providing healthy meals during the summer months to Port Chester School District children through the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), a federally-funded, state-administered program that serves free meals to children and teens in low-income areas. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals on Main Street will be distributing weekend meals on Fridays. Last summer, Carver Center distributed 16,919 free breakfasts and lunches to families through this program.

RYE YMCA AND CARVER CENTER PARTNER TO OFFER WATER SAFETY CLASSES
We collaborated with the RYE YMCA to offer their SAFETY AROUND WATER Program to our community. The course instructed children water safety and basic swimming skills that will help reduce the risk of drowning. Children worked with certified water safety instructors in and outside of the pool to have a better understanding of how they can remain safe around waterfronts. Parents were also given information to help keep their children safe around the water. #wearestrongertogether
