Experience Local Food The Entire Month of May! 



The annual Spring Rural Romp is switching gears this year to make sure everyone can safely discover local farms and food businesses within the region. Instead of a one-day farm and food tour, we will be rolling out a line-up of ideas, activities, and tips on where to find, experience, engage around local food for the whole month of May! 

Follow our social media channels and visit the Spring Rural Romp page to learn more about agriculture, participate in virtual tours and find key tips on how to shop, and experience local farms and food stores this month and year-round.

Workplace Covid-19 Rapid Antigen Test Kits - free for all small businesses



We would like to share with you some exciting news that can benefit businesses in Erin.

Two organisations in our region the Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce and Dufferin Board of Trade have received Workplace Rapid Screening Tests from the Province that can test asymptomatic employees to help stop the spread of Covid-19 in the workplace and our community.

Both of these organisations are inviting Erin businesses to join their respective programs. Programs are free for any business with less than 150 employees.
You can choose either organisation to join their program.

Ontario to Introduce Paid
COVID-19 Sick Leave


The Province of Ontario announced a plan to reimburse employers for up to three paid leave days related to COVID-19 for every employee.

Employers and their workers can call a dedicated COVID-19 Sick Days Information Centre hotline at 1-888-999-2248 or visit Ontario.ca/COVIDworkerbenefit to get more information and updates about the proposed Ontario COVID-19 paid leave days.
