They are counting down the days until graduation....but we're secretly hoping it goes by slow!
CLASS OF 2022 COMMITS
Commitment Day is one of our louder celebrations at St. Luke's! We let it be known that we are loud and proud of the Class of 2022.
MOHAMMED SIGNS TO RUN TRACK AND FIELD AT SPRING HILL
We celebrated another student athlete signing to compete at the next level! Congrats to Mo for all of his hard work! Go Badgers!
SLES STUDENTS ATTEND YOUTH LEGISLATURE
This past weekend, 6 of our students participated in the Alabama Youth Legislature in Montgomery. Student bill proposals are drafted in delegations across Alabama and brought forward to the State Capital for consideration and debate; reflecting the actual procedure in the Alabama Legislature. All of our participants did a fantastic job and showed great success with Sophia Abel's bill passing through the House Chamber and Taylor Jackson's bill passing through the 1st year's chamber.

NAPPIES 2022 FINALIST
Thank you to everyone that voted for us among the BEST of the BEST in Mobile Bay! Lagniappe had over 280,000 nominations this year (a record!), so making it this far is an honor in and of itself.
BUT, St. Luke's wants to take home the top prize - a NAPPIE!

TUESDAY! ZOGHBY'S UNIFORMS: IN-SCHOOL FITTING SCHEDULED & 10% OFF!
K2-12th grade can attend the in-school fitting on Tuesday, May 3rd from 2:00-6:00 p.m. in the Japonica Campus Dining Hall. If you purchase your uniforms from May 1-7th, you will receive 10% off of your order. Also, Layaway is offered in-store and at the in-school fitting with 50% down.
MAY 4th: RISING 7th-12th GRADE: SPORTS PHYSICALS
Athletes, come to the gym between 1:00-4:00 p.m. to get your physical to play sports next year. The physicals are $10 and checks should be made out to St. Luke's. Thank you.

K2-5th GRADE: BOOSTERTHON INFORMATION
During the program, families will gather donations for every lap your student runs (30-35 laps) at the St. Luke's Episcopal School Fun Run Day on 5/17. Students will also experience an amazing character theme called SPORTS CITY WORLDWIDE!

Note: Senior Parents - there is money left over from the snack fund and the reception fund that the parents paid for at the beginning of the year - that will pay for the senior banquet. The cost will only be for the parents to attend at $50.00 per ticket. If you have already paid for a ticket for your senior, Cherie will refund you soon. Please remember to send 10 photos of your senior in jpeg format to ashleyrichda@gmail.com for the senior slideshow that will be shown at the banquet.

RISING 10th & 11th GRADE - SUMMER ENGINEERING ACADEMY (SEA) 2022 REGISTER BY MAY 31st
The Summer Engineering Academy at the College of Engineering at USA is a great opportunity to discover all engineering fields and get hands-on engineering experience. SEA is for any rising 10th and 11th grade. 9th and and 12th graders will be considered if space allows. (Deadline May 31)

Youth Sports Camps are returning to St. Luke's this summer for 3rd-6th grade! Sign up your Wildcat for sports camps led by our varsity coaches and players.

Camps are $50 per player and are held from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. unless otherwise specified. Payment is via cash or check only. Priority registration is given to students enrolled at St. Luke's for the 2022-23 academic year. Fill out the form to reserve your spot!

"WILD ABOUT THE ARTS" - CAMP HOSTED BY SLES FINE & PERFORMING ARTS BOOSTER CLUB
WILD about the Arts Camp
For all Students who’ve completed grades 2-6
Camp dates are July 11-15th, 2022
8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Fee $130 (Includes materials, snack, drink, and a camp t-shirt)

Camp Description: Campers will experience a full, hands-on and immersive SLES arts program. Focusing on theatre, fine-arts, and musical introduction, campers will bring to life Disney's Lion King Kids play. They will create backdrops, props and the music. Each camper will be able to find their place within the arts as they try new experiences and use their own natural creativity. On the final day, campers will perform an abbreviated version of the beloved Disney classic on stage for the parents.
