The Florida Redevelopment Awards Program is FRA's opportunity to honor the hard work and dedication of our members from around the state.

Our 2022 program is underway and the deadline to submit your entries is quickly approaching!

Featuring a variety of categories, the awards program recognizes the best in Florida redevelopment and is open to any member of the association. Those interested in entering have the chance to showcase a wide variety of projects and initiatives with categories such as Capital Projects and ​Infrastructure, Creative Organizational Development and Funding, Cultural Enhancement, Outstanding Housing, Transportation and more.

The deadline to submit an entry is June 10. We encourage you to start planning now as the best entries are ones that provide plenty of detail, thought and information.

DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT FORUM
The Tampa Downtown Partnership is hosting its 26th Annual Downtown Development Forum on Friday, May 6.

This half-day event focuses on the exploration of innovative ideas in urban development and serves as a catalyst for discussion for major urban issues.

Participants will learn from leading experts on topics including transportation, leadership, planning, real estate trends, development projects updates and more.

As the new manager of the Downtown, Channel District, Heights Riverfront and Central Park community redevelopment agencies, FRA President, Jeff Burton, will be leading the "Checking in with Tampa's Downtown CRAs" session.

Jeff will share updates and information on the strategic plans for these CRAs.

JOBS AROUND THE STATE
Main Street Orlando is looking for an Executive Director.

The Executive Director will be responsible for the development, execution, implementation and documentation of activities and initiatives of City District, a non-profit organization.

The Executive Director reports directly to the Board of Directors and works in a collaborative manner to determine the overall development objectives, action plans and strategic direction of the organization in the best interest of Downtown Orlando and its member stakeholders.


The City of Riviera Beach is seeking an Economic & Business Manager.

The Economic & Business Manager will be responsible for the marketing, brand creation, relationship management and overall attraction and retention of businesses to and in the City of Riviera Beach.

The candidate will facilitate special projects, initiatives and activities related to economic development as well as implement a tourism master plan.
