Hello Long Beach State!

I want to start this month’s message by saying “Thank you!” to all those across this incredible campus who participated in the Future U Project campaign and/or survey! The survey closed Friday, Feb. 10, and we received a total of 7,555 respondents! Our campaign is not over, but that is an awesome start to our feedback and engagement goals. For more information on the project, to voice your feedback, or to find out how you can still get involved with the campaign, please check out asicsulb.org/futureu.

As we head into March and the middle of the semester, there are a ton of things happening on campus. Check out some of these events and resources during this busy month:

  • March is Women’s History Month. Make sure to celebrate and acknowledge all the powerful women in your lives.
  • The Beach Pantry, Basic Needs, and the Career Development Center are hosting another Clothing Donation Drive to collect professional attire for LBSU students. Please consider donating between now and March 10 to various locations.
  • Be sure to stay up to date with our Events Calendar for all the latest workshops, programs, events, and resources that you can connect with on campus.

Finally, make sure you are tuned in to our social media accounts (@csulbasi) for my new segment, “Iced Coffee with Isaac.” Also, we will be announcing our celebrity guest for “An Evening With” on those channels, and you won’t want to miss out on this awesome night.

As always, make sure that you are taking care of yourself, checking in with what you need, and reaching out to those who are here for you. I’m wishing you the best as we transition into this busy time of the semester.
