This past weekend was our mid-year Serve and Equip board meeting. In my director’s report, I shared the following, which reflects a little bit of how the Lord has been working lately:

 “The past three months or so have been filled with amazing examples of how God truly has orchestrated the opportunities He has given each of us to serve Him, as I’m sure each of us could attest to. To HIM be the glory! Each of the opportunities that Serve and Equip has been asked to be a part of, the Lord had clearly equipped us for – sometimes more recently than not.”

This statement truly has been the case as we have had the privilege to help ministry organizations and others in ministry with shooting and editing videos, computer networking and support, audio recording, data recovery and a variety of other opportunities as we serve those the Lord brings our way. We appreciate your continued prayers as the Lord equips each of us for these opportunities. Please be praying that God will, in HIS time, provide the extra hands we need with our weekly email topics, the need for web design and maintenance and even our own networking upkeep. God IS faithful and we praise HIM for the opportunities he continues to provide.
Thank the Lord with us for how He IS working. Here are some ways you can continue to pray:
  • Jeff, who has been recording the weekly video email topics, is planning to attend Master's University in the fall. Since he will be in California, he will be unable to effectively continue shooting the topics. Pray that the Lord will provide the right person to record video for the next set of topics. 
  • Praise the Lord for keeping our data server going. At our board meeting last week, the board discussed the need to get a new server up and running as well as complete several other upgrades that have been postponed over the past several years. Pray that the Lord will continue to keep our current gear running as decisions are made. Keep following along for how YOU can help in this particular area.
  • Pray that the Lord will give wisdom as we walk along-side various individuals in their respective areas of need - whether technical or spiritual.
  • Praise the Lord for each of the S&E Board members who sacrifice their time to help guide this organization, while having their own ministry and personal challenges. Please pray for each of them as the Lord equips them for their respective opportunities to Serve Christ.
