Dear Ones:

I wish to express my sincere and deep appreciation for the recent “drive-by” parade celebrating my 4 year anniversary with you. So many of you participated and I was overwhelmed by your love and support.

Thank you also to each and every one for the gifts, cards, flowers, and balloons. Your thoughtfulness touched me deeply.

I will forever cherish each of you and my time here in Spring Hill.

Next week I will be sharing with you the steps we will take as I depart from my ministry here.

In the meantime, thank you again from the bottom of my heart.

God loves you and so do I.

A MESSAGE FROM YOUR MODERATOR
Well, here we go again with another concern. The concern is a little harder than the ones in the past. We are going to say goodbye to our pastor. We have spent four years being shown that no matter what concern is presented we can with God’s love conquer it. We will certainly miss Pastor Robin and the many things she has done for us. As she prepares to leave us we surely wish the best and we hope her new venture will bring her happiness.

The Justice and Community Engagement Ministry will be picking up litter on our adopted road (Augustine) and doing some cleanup around the church campus as well. This will be on Saturday, August 29 at 7:00 am. If anyone would like to help that day please email Chance at shucc.mid@gmail.com. Hope to see you there!
Hello SHUCC Men's Club,

Due to COVID-19 it has been a long time since we have crossed paths. Our lives have been enormously disrupted. Hopefully, we will re-gather on Saturday September 12 at 9:00 AM in Fell. Hall. I write this with caution, and do under- stand our meeting is dependent upon
COVID-19 protocols at that time.

  • Wear a face mask
  • Make every effort to properly space ourselves in order to keep our time together both safe and short.

We will not be able to use the kitchen to prepare and serve our usually hearty breakfast, so coffee and donuts will be provided. This will be a good time to plan our 2020-21 adgenda.

PLEASE RSVP to me at daclamrev1@gmail.com

Until then be well,
Jerry Jones, Men's Club President
