In an effort to allay confusion and bring about greater clarity concerning the impact COVID-19-related San Francisco health orders are having on our City's communities of faith, San Francisco Health Officer Dr. Tomas Aragon will brief our City's faith leaders on why and how public health orders, directives and guidances are developed, their legal significance, what references the existing health order makes to worship, houses of worship and other religious facilities, and the relationship a County health order has to the guidances issued by the State of California. This particular briefing will depart from the established format. In lieu of a panel discussion following Dr. Aragon's presentation, he will respond to questions submitted by San Francisco Faith Leaders.
