Keynote Speaker Announced!
Captain Barrington Irving scheduled to open the Florida Afterschool & Summer Symposium on Thursday, April 13.
Guinness world-record setting and National Geographic Explorer, Captain Barrington Irving elevates the conversation around STEM+ education and describes how to take an innovative approach through technology and creativity. This innovator & aviation expert believes every student can fulfill life's potential with a dynamic STEM+ education when facilitated by transformational industry leaders. When the three-time TEDX speaker shares his journey of sourcing, funding, and building his own plane to become the youngest and first black man to fly around the world solo in 2007, everyone will be motivated to ask themselves, “am I living up to my full potential?”
